The figure is from Freebooters Miniatures, one of those unique sculpt full of personality. It is meant as a gift to Emmanuelle, one of my best friend who happens to be a big fan of horror movies and zombies/undead, as well as a hopeless romantic (notice the rose our Monsieur la Mort is offering).
So there it is, la Mort, "a la Victorienne!"
I'm quite happy it managed to crack the top 5 of the Challenge Victorian round (yeah).

I thought this was one of the best figures in the competition. I have been trying to duplicate the way you do your pink without a whole lot of success.

Thanks John! Well as you know I'm somewhat an expert on pink, one of my favourite colour ;-). Pretty simple, though. In this case I started with a base of Foundry Nipple pink A, followed by Vallejo Old Rose and then Foundry Nipple pink C for highlights. I then gave it a wash of very thinned down GW Carroburg Crimson.
DeleteUnique and beautifully done!
